Feature on ABC TV "Art Works" for The Other Art Fair
Recently, I had the delightful opportunity to be a guest on ABC's TV show "Art Works," where I was invited to share my experiences from The Other Art Fair. I've become such a regular at the fair, I half-expect to find myself listed under 'permanent exhibits'!
Now, here's a little secret: I was feeling under the weather on the day of recording. And by under the weather, I mean I was feeling more scrambled than a Pollock. But, being the hard-ass artist that I am, I decided to power through. The result? A language palette that was a bit more... vibrant than usual. The producers had a good laugh, but they couldn't air the whole thing due to my impromptu exploration of the "art of language".
But, they let me say "Shit" on air! A small victory for the anarchist in me - I'll take it! Who needs a red carpet when you can leave your mark with a well-placed expletive, right?
Despite feeling like I'd been used as a canvas by a particularly enthusiastic toddler, I think I held my own on the show. You can check it out on ABC iview through this link: ABC iview link.
A heartfelt thanks to the crew, the producer, and everyone at The Other Art Fair for having me. It's always an adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
So, that's all for now. Stay tuned for more from yours truly, until next time, keep it colourful, just like my language.
